Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Sudaniola is a genus of snout moths. It was described by Roesler in 1973. It contains only one species Sudaniola remanella, which is found in Spain and Sudan. The Pyralidae or snout moths are a family of Lepidoptera in the ditrysian superfamily Pyraloidea. In many (particularly older) classifications, the grass moths (Crambidae) are included in the Pyralidae as a subfamily, making the combined group one of the largest families in the Lepidoptera. The latest review by Munroe & Solis, in Kristensen (1999)[Full citation needed] retains the Crambidae as a full family of pyraloidea.
