Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Preemraff Lysekil is an oil refinery located at Brofjorden near the Swedish city of Lysekil. Originally named Scanraff, the refinery was taken into use in 1975. The site was selected because of its excellent natural harbour, and the facility can accept supertankers up to 500,000 metric tons deadweight (DWT). In 2003, the facility was acquired by Preem. Preem is the largest supplier of petroleum products in Sweden and its two refineries, Preemraff Lysekil and Preemraff Göteborg in Gothenburg represent two-thirds of Sweden's refining capacity. Lysekil is a locality and the seat of Lysekil Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 7,568 inhabitants in 2005. The picturesque coastal town of Lysekil is a major tourist destination during the Swedish summer period from June to the end of August. Lysekil is known as originator of the Lysekil Caviar, often referred to as Creamed Smoked Roe in English and as Caviar de Lysekil in French.
