Yelovsky District is an administrative district of Perm Krai, Russia; one of the thirty-three in the krai. Municipally, it is incorporated as Yelovsky Municipal District. Its administrative center is the rural locality of Yelovo. District's population: 10,741; 13,121; 14,127. Population of Yelovo accounts for 43.5% of the district's population. The district was established on January 15, 1924. The most numerous ethnic groups, according to the 2002 Census, include Russians at 94.8% and the Chuvash people at 2.6%.
