José Luis "Guerrero" González Dávila (born September 14, 1942) is a former Mexican football midfielder, who played for the Mexico national team between 1965 and 1970, gaining 41 caps and scoring 4 goals. He was part of the Mexico squad for the 1966 and 1970 world cups. At club level, González played for Pumas and Deportivo Toluca. The Mexican national football team represents Mexico in association football and is governed by the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), the governing body for football in Mexico. Mexico's home stadium is the Estadio Azteca and their head coach is José Manuel de la Torre. The team is currently ranked 20th in the FIFA World Rankings and 12th in the World Football Elo Ratings.
