Robert Allison (1723–1800) was an early Pennsylvania settler and one of the founders of Menno, Pennsylvania. He was an Irish immigrant. Menno Township is a township in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,763 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 23.8 square miles (61.7 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 1,763 people, 484 households, and 408 families residing in the township. The population density was 74.0 people per square mile (28.6/km²). There were 551 housing units at an average density of 23.1/sq mi (8.9/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.50% White, 1.64% African American, 0.06% Asian, 0.17% from other races, and 0.62% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.40% of the population.
