Bernie Saunders (born June 21, 1956 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played two seasons in the National Hockey League for the Quebec Nordiques. His brother is ESPN sportscaster, John Saunders. Bernie was only the 5th black hockey player to play in the NHL. The others were Willie O'Ree, Mike Marson, Bill Riley, Tony McKegney and then Bernie Saunders.
