Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The 2006 Tour de Pologne road cycling race took place from September 4 until September 10. German Stefan Schumacher won the last the two last stages on his way to capturing his second consecutive stage race; previously winning the Eneco Tour of Benelux. The Tour de Pologne is a road bicycle racing stage race. It consists of seven or eight stages and oscillates around 1,200 km in length. It was first held in 1928. Until 1952 the race was organised sporadically, but since then it is annual. Until the early 1993, the race was open for amateur cyclists only and most of its winners came from Poland.
