Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The 2010 provincial elections of Sardinia took place on 30–31 May 2010. A run-off took place in Cagliari, Nuoro and Ogliastra on 12–13 June. Six provinces were won by the centre-left, two by the centre-right, which gained Olbia-Tempio. The Politics of Sardinia, Italy takes place in a framework of a presidential representative democracy, whereby the President of Regional Government is the head of government, and of a pluriform multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the Regional Government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the Regional Council of Sardinia.
