Dato' Jacob Dungau Sagan is a Malaysian politician, the current Malaysian Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry. He is the Senior Vice President of the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party since its formation 2001 and also the founder Member of SPDP. Jacob was elected as Members of the Dewan Rakyat, 12th Malaysian Parliament in Baram for the fourth term in March 2008 with an increased majority of 4,044 votes. Jacob was born in Long Anap, Ulu Baram, Sarawak. He is one of the Kenyah tribe from the Orang Ulu community. He is to able to speak and write English, Bahasa Malaysia, Kenyah and Kayan fluently. He can also speak Iban, Pean and Sebob.
