Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Dezfuli and Shushtari is a Persian dialect spoken in Dezful and Shushtar two adjacent cities of Khozestan province in Iran. Dezfuli is closely related to the dialect of Shushtar. In fact Desphili and Shushtari have no significant difference and this dialect can be called as Desphili-Shushtari. the only differences which may exist are in accents. Desphil is a city based at south bank of the river Dej besides the ancient, constructed by SAsAnian empire before christian 7th century. Desphiliy or Dezfuli is the variation of Persian and it is spoken by people of this city, which is also heavily influenced by Kurdish language. The language is considered as a dialect of Parsi and it is related to Shushtari language probably because ancient Dezful people have been of Shushtari Origin. Most of the vocabularies and pronouns are borrowed from Kurdish which is widely spoken in this region as well.
