Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Believed to reside in Yemen, Barakat Fahim Ali Mohamed (also known as Izzat, Abu Yasser) is an alleged forger closely associated with the Egyptian al-Jihad militant group. In 1998, he was contacted by Canadian Mahmoud Jaballah, who wanted an immediate set of false documentation for himself and his family, in case Canadian authorities declined his refugee bid or pursued him. In October 1998, he asked Mohamed whether he had received the necessary photographs of his children and was disappointed to learn he had not. In March of the following year, Jaballah unsuccessfully tried to send Mohamed a fax with his address details, and phoned him repeatedly. He was told that "the thing" was ready for him, and would be sent out after Eid, assuming the fax had been received by then. He was given details on a Yemenese post office box where it is believed he sent money to pay for the fake identification.
