In Sikhism, a sehajdari (also transliterated as sahajdari) is a person who disregards the religious prohibitions against haircuts and shaving, but otherwise observes the tenets of the Guru Granth Sahib: they are often gradualist converts. As a general rule, Sehajdari are not given the surname of "Singh". Sehajdhari sikh is a term used for persons who have cut hair or shaven beard but they do believe in the gurus and the granth sahib ji.
