The Wedell Mansion (Danish: Wedells Palæ), also known as the Barchmann Mansion (English: Barchmanns Palæ) after its original owner, is a 1740 Baroque style town mansion in Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in the early 1740s, it is located on the corner of Frederiksholms Kanal and Ny Kongensgade, opposite what was then the main entrance to the first Christiansborg, the new royal palace, which was then under construction. The mansion was built from 1740 to 1741 by Philip de Lange for affluent Jacob Barchmann. In 1748 the building was extended with seven bays along the canal and a little later with three bays along Ny Kongensgade.
