Hiroaki Hamada (né le 27 novembre 1950), mieux connu sous le pseudonyme de Gran Hamada est un catcheur professionnel japonais. Il est connu pour être le premier japonais à avoir adopté le style mexicain de la lucha libre. Premier et unique Championnat Intercontinental par équipe de la WWF avec Perro Aguayo, il est également le créateur de la fédération Universal Lucha Libre. Il est le père des catcheuses Xóchitl Hamada et Ayako Hamada. Il fut l'un des premiers élèves du donjon d'entrainement de la New Japan Pro Wrestling en tant que Little Hamada. Envoyé ensuite à la Universal Wrestling Association du fait de sa petite taille, il y rencontre un grand succès, à tel point que le public commence à l'appeler Gran Hamada (le Grand Hamada, en contraste avec Little Hamada qui signifiait Petit Hamada), surnom qui deviendra son pseudoyme à long terme pour catcher. Le 4 février 1979, il devient Champion du Monde Junior poids-légers de la UWA en battant le tout premier champion, Cesar Valentino.
