Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Gopnik (Russian: Го́пник) (plural gopniki, gopota, gopary) is a stereotypical class of young males up to 30 years old found in Russia and post-Soviet countries, characterized by aggressive behavior, specifically towards the weak, a predilection to the Blat criminal subculture, abuse of alcohol beverages (specifically beer, vodka and "Jaguar" cocktail) and specific fashion preferences. Gopniks have been compared to the Chavs and Neds of the United Kingdom.
