Fred Glick (born February 25, 1937 in Aurora, Colorado) is a former collegiate and professional American football safety who attended Colorado State University. Glick played two seasons in the NFL, with the Chicago Cardinals in 1959, then went to St. Louis, along with the team, when it relocated in 1960. Then, he went on to play six seasons in the American Football League, starting for the Houston Oilers in 1961, when they won their second consecutive AFL Championship. Glick was also an AFL All-Star in 1962, 1963, and 1964.In 1963 set an AFL single season record with 12 interceptions.In a 1962 game against the Buffalo Bills was credited with an incredible 27 tackles, which may also be an AFL single game record.
