Dimitris (or Dimitrios) Mavrogenidis (Greek: Δημήτρης Μαυρογεννίδης; born 23 December 1976 in Tashkent) is a retired Uzbek-born Greek football right-back. Mavrogenidis is best known as Olympiacos' first-choice right-back for a long stretch of the club's dominance of Greek football in the late 1990s and early 2000s. After coming through Aris' youth system, Dimitris Mavrogenidis made his professional debut at age 17, on 9 August 1994, in the preliminary round of the 1994-95 UEFA Cup (now called UEFA Europa League), in a 3-1 win over to Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
