Water resources of Myanmar have not been well studied and developed. This Integrated approach of Remote Sensing and GIS in conjunction with the available well data helped in delineating the prospective groundwater zone with estimated yield in the study area and this approach can be used to map the preliminary estimated groundwater wealth of Myanmar.
