Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Titus Flavius Sabinus was the son of Titus Flavius Sabinus (consul 47). He was suffect consul in May and June 69 and one of the generals who fought for Otho against Vitellius during the Year of the Four Emperors, although he submitted to Vitellius once Otho had been defeated. He was besieged alongside his father in the Capital, but escaped when it was burnt down. His paternal cousin, Emperor Domitian, later had him put to death after a herald saluted him as imperator ("commander", a title only the emperor was entitled to) instead of "consul". He was the father of Titus Flavius Sabinus and Titus Flavius Clemens.
