Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Roger Erickson is an American photographer. Erickson was born in Washington D.C. in 1964. His family later moved to Oakland, California. After college he began photographing models in San Francisco while working at a camera store in Berkeley, California. In 1991 he was hired by Select Magazine, in London, to photograph Neil Young and Crazy Horse in Malibu, California. He later moved to London in 1992 to pursue his passion as a fine art photographer. Since then, he has become a celebrity photographer as well. Fine art photography refers to photographs that are created in accordance with the creative vision of the photographer as artist. Fine art photography stands in contrast to photojournalism, which provides a visual account for news events, and commercial photography, the primary focus of which is to advertise products or services.
