Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Sikhism is a monotheistic religion founded in the fifteenth century. Sikhism originated from the word Sikh, which in turn comes from the Sanskrit root śiṣya meaning "disciple", or śikṣa meaning "instruction". The teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and ten successive SatGurus (the last one being the sacred text Guru Granth Sahib Ji), lay an extreme emphasis upon universal, selfless love and brotherhood."Only those who selflessly love everyone, they alone shall find God". It is the fifth-largest organized religion in the world and one of the fastest-growing. This system of religious philosophy and expression has been traditionally known as the Gurmat (literally of the gurus).
